Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Nampa, ID seeks Patient Safety Attendants for the Clinical Support Team (Float Pool). This PRN, part-time role provides continuous observation to maintain patient safety.

You'll monitor patients, redirect unsafe behavior, document observations, and assist nursing staff as needed. Night shifts 7pm–7:30am with potential weekend/holiday coverage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Basic Life Support for HealthCare Provider (BLS/HCP) certification preferred but not required.
• Previous hospital experience or student in medical discipline is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Maintain visual observation of assigned patient(s) at all times and redirect as needed.
• Verbally redirect patients from at‑risk behaviors and notify staff of needs or emergencies.
• Document observations every 15-30 minutes and hand off pertinent information to staff.
• Assist licensed nursing staff and seek help if a patient poses a threat to themselves or others.
