Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of start date.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention within 90 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Keep watch over patients at high risk for falls or self-harm, staying alert and ready to act.
• Help maintain a safe, clutter-free environment by following safety protocols and infection prevention.
• Report changes in patient behavior promptly and partner with nursing care to respond quickly.
• Assist patients with ADLs (eating, bathing, grooming) to promote dignity.
• Support the nursing team with tasks like transporting patients and delivering supplies.
