Job summary

Endeavor Health seeks a Patient Care Technician for the Medical Pulmonary Unit at Arlington Heights, IL (nights). The role is part‑time, 40 hours every two weeks, with an orientation during the starting week and nightly 7:00pm–7:30am shifts, every other weekend.

Requires CNA certification and CPR, with high school completion. Under RN/LPN supervision, you will assist with personal care, mobility, vital signs, accu-checks, and basic nursing tasks.

Qualifications

• Requires completion of high school
• Completion of an accredited CNA course and CNA certification exam
• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association

Responsibilities

• Assists patients with personal care needs under RN/LPN supervision.
• Assists with mobility and range of motion, using proper body mechanics.
• Obtains vital signs, input/output checks, accu-checks, and reports abnormalities to the nurse.
• Documents basic patient care in the electronic medical record.
