Tampa General Hospital-Citrus in Crystal River is hiring a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support the nursing staff with direct and indirect patient care during night shifts. The role emphasizes patient-centered care, safety, and efficient operation of the patient care area.

The PCT will assist with activities of daily living, monitor vital signs, document data throughout the shift, and maintain a clean, safe environment under RN supervision.

Qualifications

• Assists with direct and indirect patient care.
• Keeps patient environment clean, organized, and safe under RN supervision.
• Documents patient information (vital signs, intake/output) during shifts.

Responsabilités

• Assist with activities of daily living (meals, bathing, grooming).
• Support patient mobility (positioning, ambulation, devices).
• Obtain and record admissions data, vitals, and other patient information.
• Adhere to hospital policies and nursing rules for unlicensed personnel.
