Job summary

OhioHealth Corporation is seeking a Nursing Assistant to assist Registered Nurses in delivering direct patient care on a designated nursing unit. The role involves night shift work and support for multiple patients in the Med Surg Unit 1.

Qualifications

• High School or GED plus BLS Basic Life Support per American Heart Association.
• High School Diploma or GED or minimum of 3 years relevant work experience.
• CPR certified.
• Basic PC skills to manage patient information and EMR workflows.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living while on the unit and support patient comfort.
• Perform delegable nursing tasks per RN directions using clear, simple instructions.
• Assist visitors and staff, manage supplies, transport items and help maintain unit organization.
