Job summary

CenExel is seeking a Night Shift Patient Care Technician I to work in our clinical research setting, focusing on individuals with psychiatric diagnoses participating in trials. Under moderate supervision, you will advocate for clients and support retention in research while addressing psychosocial needs.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, meals, medication processes (if certified), discharge planning, and coordinating transportation.

Qualifications

• Able to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• High school graduate or GED equivalency.
• 0-2 years healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess participants' psychosocial needs and management requirements.
• Observe and report changes in participants to supervising staff.
• Assist participants with ADLs and orientation to clinical protocols.
• Provide meals, snacks, and assist with meal planning and ordering as allowed by protocol.
• Assist with discharge planning and follow-up arrangements.
• Coordinate transportation and appointments; ensure records are updated.
