Job summary

CenExel Clinical Research seeks a Patient Care Technician I for on-site duties in Anaheim, CA. The role supports clinical study participants, assisting with ADLs, meals, and discharge planning while coordinating transport and documenting care.

The position requires 6+ months in healthcare, strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to work a 3:00 pm–11:30 pm shift, including weekends. Training period may start with AM shifts.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience in the healthcare field (Required).
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Ability to multitask and maintain professional boundaries.
• Strong teamwork and crisis-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assesses participants' psychosocial needs and case management needs.
• Observes and reports changes in participants to supervisor.
• Assists participants with ADLs and provides meals and snacks per protocol.
• Coordinates transportation and discharge planning.
• Documents group sessions and maintains accurate discharge summaries.
• Ensures adherence to FDA CFR, ICH, GCP, SOPs, and study policies.
