Job summary

Trinity Health's St. Joseph's Hospital Health Center in Syracuse, NY is seeking a part-time patient care assistant for the 12-hour night shift.

The role involves direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and includes vitals, positioning, feeding, phlebotomy and EKG Initial training is full-time during the day, and basic computer skills are required. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with BLS/CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers direct patient care in collaboration with the Registered Nurse and performs tasks that do not require nursing judgments or administration of medications.
• Duties include bedside patient care, vitals, positioning, feeding, phlebotomy and EKG.
