Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian is seeking a Patient Care Associate for the 11:00pm–7:00am shift in our East 2 area. The role involves direct patient care tasks, environmental duties, and acting as a Nursing Attendant as needed.

There is no supervisory responsibility and the schedule includes weekends and holidays. Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, current CPR training (American Heart Association), at least 1 year of Nursing Attendant experience, and completion of an approved

• Current CPR Training from the American Heart Association.
• 1 year of Nursing Attendant experience.
• Completion of approved Patient Care Technician training program.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care tasks and assist with health, safety and comfort needs.
• Perform environmental duties for the unit and assist as Nursing Attendant when needed.
• Work a night shift from 11:00pm to 7:00am, including weekends and holidays.
