Job summary

LMH Health in Lawrence, KS is seeking a CNA to provide direct patient care under the supervision of an RN during night shifts. You will assist in admissions, discharges and transfers, respond to patient calls promptly, and maintain accurate documentation.

The role requires CNA or CMA credentials, EMT training, or nursing school coursework, with a strong emphasis on compassionate care, safety, and teamwork within the unit.

Qualifications

• Current Kansas Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) Certification.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant program (CMA).
• Current EMT training certification.
• Completion of 1 year of nursing school.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care per treatment plans and under RN/charge nurse supervision.
• Accompany patients to treatments throughout the facility.
• Complete documentation accurately and timely.
• Perform and assist with patient lifts, transfers, positioning and ambulation.
