Job summary

AdventHealth Tampa is seeking a part-time Patient Care Technician to support nursing staff in delivering patient-centered care. You will perform vitals, document in the EMR, and assist with routine tasks under licensed nurse guidance.

The role emphasizes adherence to policies, participation in quality initiatives, and strict PPE and safety practices in a healthcare setting. BLS is required, CNA/CPCT/A/EMT preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification required.
• 1 year of PCT experience preferred.
• CNA/CPCT/A/ EMT certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering patient care under supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Accurately take vital signs and document in the EMR.
• Perform duties per policy and procedures.
• Respond to clinical emergencies within scope of practice and support quality initiatives.
• Follow isolation and PPE guidelines and maintain safety standards.
