Job summary

Ascension at St. Vincent's Southside Hospital in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Nights | Full-time role to provide essential clinical and non-clinical support to patients under the nursing team.

You will assist with movement, positioning, transfers, and personal care while maintaining patient dignity and safety. You will document changes and help keep the unit organized and stocked to support seamless care.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required within 1 month of hire.
• Nurse Aide preferred.
• Education/experience as stated in minimum requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver essential clinical and non-clinical support to patients under nursing guidance.
• Safely assist patients with movement, positioning and transfers.
• Assist with personal care and daily activities to maintain dignity and quality of life.
• Monitor and report changes in patient status to nursing staff.
• Maintain accurate patient records and keep environment clean and stocked for smooth clinical operations.
