Job summary

Ascension is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Night shift at Ascension St. Vincent's Riverside Hospital in Jacksonville, FL. This full-time role provides patient-centered care and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to execute orders and care plans.

You will lead discharge planning, ensure safe transitions, and document progress to support outcomes. Requires Florida RN license and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Registered Nurse credentialing from the Florida Board of Nursing prior to hire.
• Diploma in nursing or equivalent licensure at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care by following established clinical standards.
• Drive implementation of patient care plans and document progress to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Act as primary coordinator for multidisciplinary teams and facilitate communication.
• Execute physician and nursing orders with precision in clinical decision-making.
• Lead discharge planning to ensure safe patient transitions.
