Job summary

Piedmont Augusta Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Tech to join the night shift team at our Augusta facility. You will provide compassionate care to patients from birth through the lifecycle under the supervision of licensed clinical staff, using required treatments and equipment per hospital policy.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, and at least 1 year of acute patient care experience. BCLS certification is required on hire; CNA or PCT program certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of acute patient care experience in a facility managing a multiple-patient load required.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required; CNA and PCT certification programs preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Patient Care Tech, under the supervision of licensed clinical staff, provides care to patients from birth through the lifecycle, demonstrating competency with treatments, procedures and equipment appropriate to the clinical setting and hospital policy.
