Job summary

Nacogdoches Medical Center, part of Tenet Healthcare, seeks a Nurse Aide to provide basic patient care on a nights shift. Renders essential comfort, records vitals, assists with treatments, and reports patient conditions in a fast-paced unit.

You must have CNA experience or be a nursing student, with BLS certification. FLSA status is non-exempt, and a sign-on bonus may be available; benefits package includes health, retirement, PTO, and wellness programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: CNA or currently enrolled in a nursing program.
• Minimum Experience: CNA, Nurse Aide Experience, or currently attending a school of nursing.

Responsibilities

• Renders basic patient care to patients in an assigned unit and assists the professional nurse.
• Takes and records vital signs and observes, reports, and records patient condition.
• Obtains specimens and administers other treatments; operates or assists in operating devices; meets physical comfort needs.
