Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician 1N FT to join our team at Baptist Medical Center East in Alabama. The role supports RNs, LPNs and physicians in routine patient care tasks and daily operations while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma, CNA/HOSA background may be preferred, and completion of clinical rotations or related patient care experience plus BLS certification are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; CNA/HOSA preferred.
• Completion of first clinical rotation or 1 year of patient care experience preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist RNs, LPNs and physicians in routine patient care tasks.
• Support non-complex activities of patient care as part of the care team.
• Maintain patient safety, comfort, and effective communication with the care team.
