Job summary

Baptist Health is hiring a Patient Care Technician to support the patient care team with routine and non-complex tasks at Baptist Medical Center East in Montgomery, AL. You will assist RNs, LPNs, and physicians as part of the bedside team, focusing on comfort, safety and basic daily living activities.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, CNA program completion or relevant health occupations coursework (preferred), and current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; CNA/Health Occupations preferred.
• Completion of a CNA program or Nursing Fundamentals/1 year patient care experience preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist RNs, LPNs and physicians with routine patient care tasks.
• Support the patient care team in non-complex activities of daily living.
• Contribute to patient safety, comfort and basic ADLs.
