Job summary

Sarah Bush Lincoln is seeking a Support Partner for the evening shift to maintain a clean, sanitary environment and assist the care team with daily living activities. The role involves transporting patients, specimens, and medications, with weekend and holiday rotation and hours from 7pm to 7:30am.

Responsibilities include cleaning patient areas, stocking supplies, and supporting compassionate, holistic care for patients and families in alignment with infection control standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare or hospital housekeeping preferred.
• Ability to assist with activities of daily living and patient safety.
• Comfort with transporting patients and supplies and following infection control policies.

Responsibilities

• Assists other care team members with activities of daily living, i.e., bathing, feeding, transferring, ambulating patients
• Completes cleaning of common areas on unit, including but not limited to desks, phones, soiled utility, pantries, conference rooms, staff and visitor bathrooms, and lounge areas
• Completes routine "daily" cleaning of occupied patient rooms and extensive discharge cleaning in alignment with infection control guidlines, policies and procedures
• Stocks appropriate supplies
• Supports relationship based care by providing compassionate, holistic care to patients, family, and co-workers and promoting a safe, caring, and healing environment
• Transports patients, specimens and supplies as requested
