Job summary

Education: High School Diploma required; Nurse Assistant/Aide program preferred. CNA certification is preferred and must be obtained for SNF unit; BCLS and de-escalation training must be completed within 90 days.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Successful completion of Nurse Assistant/Aide program preferred.
• Must complete and maintain BCLS certification on hire.
• Must complete de-escalation training by end of orientation (90 days).
• Equivalent related work experience or Nurse Aide program considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic nursing care (personal and restorative) per predefined guidelines.
• Follow a plan of care established by RN or LPN.
• Perform duties in accordance with hospital policies and infection control guidelines.
