Job summary

Education requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, with preferred Nurse Assistant/Aide program completion and CNA certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Successful completion of Nurse Assistant/Aide program preferred.
• CNA certification recognized by state preferred (required upon hire for SNF unit).
• Must complete and maintain BCLS certification.
• De-escalation training required by orientation period (90 days).
• Experience in nurse aide role or related work preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic nursing care under RN/LPN supervision according to plan of care.
• Assist with activities of daily living and restorative care.
• Follow infection control guidelines and hospital policies.
• Report patient status and changes to supervising nurse.
