Job summary

Singing River Health System in Pascagoula, MS is seeking a Diversified Technician who will provide basic nursing care under supervision of a Registered Nurse. The role supports patient care, documentation, and clinical tasks on the night shift (5pm–5am), with every-other-weekend and rotating holidays.

Must be a high school graduate; CNA preferred; BCLS certification; de-escalation training by 90 days; nursing assistant experience preferred; strong communication and customer service essential;

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; CNA preferred.
• BCLS certification must be completed or maintained upon hire/transfer.
• De-escalation training must be completed by end of orientation (90 days).
• Nursing assistant experience preferred; ED experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic nursing care per plan established by RN.
• Assist with personal and restorative care for patients.
• Perform routine clerical and receptionist duties designated by the Nurse Manager or RN.
• Maintain infection control standards and patient safety.
• Collaborate with RN and Patient Care Coordinator to support unit operations.
