Job summary

MultiCare Good Samaritan Hospital in Puyallup, WA is hiring a Patient Care Assistant (PCA) to support nursing teams within Occupational Medicine. You will collaborate with RNs and physicians, perform patient care tasks, and help with data collection and vital signs.

The role requires WA Nursing Assistant certification (or RN program enrollment replacement), a current BLS card, and prior patient care experience. Night shifts and rotating weekends/holidays offer exposure to diverse clinical cases.

Qualifications

• Certification as Nursing Assistant in the State of Washington (WA).
• Current enrollment in an accredited RN program may replace the certification requirement.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers with current card.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care as directed by RN/physician.
• Assist with dressing changes, data gathering, documentation and vital signs.
• Demonstrate service orientation, professional integrity and sound decision-making.
