Qualifications

• Current Rhode Island license as a Nursing Assistant.
• High school graduate or its equivalent preferred.
• Ability to perform basic computer skills.
• BLS certification through American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Registered Nurse to organize work and set priorities.
• Performs personal care and basic nursing assistant skills as outlined by Rhode Island DoH.
• Rehabilitation activities: assists with activities of daily living.
• Maintain safe environment: report unsafe conditions to RN, manager or supervisor.
• Recognize and report signs and symptoms; communicate observations to RN.
• Maintain infection control and document data in the EHR; assist in emergency/code situations.
