Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Health System is seeking a Patient Care Nurse Assistant for the Internal Medicine Telemetry unit on the Main Campus in Cleveland. You will work nights, 7:00pm–7:30am, in a fast-paced general medicine/telemetry environment.

The role involves assisting with basic patient care, vital signs, and coordination with RNs to ensure safe, patient-centered care. A supportive team environment and opportunities for professional growth are highlighted.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include High School Diploma or GED.
• BLS Certification through AHA or American Red Cross is required within new hire period.
• Nursing students must have BLS prior to hire or complete clinical rotation to satisfy experience.
• Military medical experience (HM/68W/4N0X1) considered.
• Nursing students who recently completed a clinical rotation may substitute for required experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide or assist with patient care under RN supervision, including taking vital signs and weight.
• Assist with personal care, dressing changes, and monitoring devices.
• Report abnormal findings to an RN and help maintain a clean, orderly patient room.
