Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience required.

Responsibilities

• Performs full registration and verifies insurance and patient information.
• Obtains copies of insurance cards, driver's license, and referrals.
• Explains Consent for Treatment, Financial Liability, and HIPAA and obtains signatures.
• Instructs patients to complete required questionnaires.
• Schedules, edits, or cancels appointments and records no-show patients.
• Answers telephone calls and responds to questions or transfers when appropriate.
• Safeguards University assets and adheres to policies.
