Job summary

Temple Health is seeking a part-time Night Shift Patient Access professional in Philadelphia to register patients for hospital services and verify insurance coverage. You will gather and process registration, billing and related information across Admissions, Outpatient, Radiology and Emergency areas, ensuring a smooth first impression for patients and families.

The role requires 3 years of Patient Access experience, knowledge of insurance requirements and 3rd party billing, and may accept

Qualifications

• 3 years experience in Patient Access
• Knowledge of insurance requirements and verification
• 3 years experience in a related role
• TUH/TUHS training/internship may substitute for experience

Responsibilities

• Gathers and processes all registration, billing and related information for hospital services
• Verifies patient insurance coverage and benefits
• Reviews registration flow with patients and families
• Promotes a positive patient encounter as the first impression of the Hospital
