Job summary

Tiny Boxwoods Productions is seeking an experienced Pastry Cook to join our pastry team. You will prepare and produce cookie doughs and fresh pastries to specifications set by the Executive Pastry Chef in a fast-paced kitchen.

The role requires passion for baking, ability to follow recipes, operate commercial equipment, and maintain sanitation. We offer health benefits after 60 days, paid vacation after a year, competitive wages, daily meals, and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Must have passion for baking and pastries.
• Knowledge of traditional and modern recipes.
• Ability to operate commercial baking equipment including ovens, mixers, conveyors and proofing cabinets.
• Ability to accurately measure baking ingredients.
• Basic knife skills including chopping, cutting and dicing.
• Maintains sanitation, safety and food regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and produce cookie doughs and fresh pastry items.
• Follow recipes and standards set by Executive Pastry Chef in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Operate commercial baking equipment (ovens, mixers, conveyors, proofing cabinets).
• Maintain mise en place and sanitation at all times.
• Assist with banquet functions, breakfast production and outlet orders.
