Trinity Health Of New England is seeking a Mental Health Worker to join the Behavioral Health team at Mt Sinai Rehab Hospital in Hartford. The role focuses on direct patient care, observation, data collection, and delivering group and individual interventions to support recovery and rehabilitation.

The MHW will work in the Behavioral Health Unit, providing a safe, therapeutic environment while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services preferred.
• Certification: AHA CPR/BLS for Healthcare Providers.
• Broad practical understanding of life experiences and ability to relate to emotionally ill individuals.

Mansioni

• Provides individualized patient care in a safe and effective manner.
• Perform and document vital signs, ADLs, patient observations and other patient care activities.
• Responds rapidly to emergency call lights and performs safety checks.
• Communicate effectively with patient population.
• Demonstrates problem solving, conflict resolution, and positive communication through teamwork.
