Sweeping Corporation of America (SCA) is seeking an Overnight Parking Lot Sweeper– Full-Time in Newark, DE. The role involves operating a parking lot sweeper across assigned routes at shopping centers and parking lots, with emphasis on safety and environmental upkeep.

Expect a 3rd shift schedule and 18.00 USD hourly pay. Minimum qualifications include a High School diploma or GED, 1 year driving experience (waste/recycling preferred), a valid driver's license, and eligibility for a motor vehicle

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• 1 year driving experience; waste & recycling services preferred.
• Driver’s License required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must pass MVR, background, DOT physical, and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Route execution: Review routes in advance and complete work on time with quality.
• Safety & inspections: Perform pre- and post-trip inspections; ensure equipment is safe.
• Equipment & material handling: Operate equipment safely and follow disposal and safety procedures.
• Reporting & documentation: Report issues and complete logs and paperwork.
• Professional communication: Represent the company professionally with supervisors, team members, and clients.
• Adaptability & reliability: Maintain consistent attendance and adapt to changing conditions.
