Job summary

Piedmont Eastside Medical Center Emergency Department in Snellville, GA is seeking a Paramedic for full-time night shifts. The role supports RN/Physician teams, delivers age-appropriate care, and participates in assessment, planning, and patient advocacy in a fast-paced ED.

Ideal candidates have BLS, ACLS, PALS, and at least 1 year of Paramedic experience; NIH certification is preferred and must be obtained if not already held. A collaborative environment with state-of-the-art care awaits.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of Paramedic experience preferred.
• BLS ACLS PALS certifications required; NIH preferred and must obtain within timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Perform EKGs.
• Perform Foley catheters.
• Start IVs, IOs and draw blood.
• Transport patients to other departments.
• Monitor patients for arrhythmias and report changes promptly.
