Riverview Regional Medical Center, LLC in Gadsden, AL is seeking a Paramedic to join our Emergency Department team. The role involves performing IVs, EKGs, vital signs monitoring, airway management, and providing critical support during trauma and medical emergencies under hospital protocols.

You will work Nights on 12-hour shifts, be part of the patient transport and care team, and collaborate with nurses and physicians to ensure continuous high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Current paramedic license issued by OEM/ADPH.
• Minimum 3 years of paramedic experience.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintaining.
• ACLS certification within 30 days of hire and maintain.
• PALS certification within 30 days and maintain.
• Dysrhythmia exam completed with 84%+ prior to hire date.

Responsabilités

• Perform IV insertion, EKG acquisition, and continuous vital signs monitoring under supervision
• Assist airway management, oxygen therapy, suctioning, and resuscitation support
• Provide wound care, splints, suturing, and assist with trauma care
• Transport patients to diagnostic areas and support room turnover
• Stock supplies and perform point-of-care testing as allowed
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and EMS during high-acuity events
