Job summary

Qualifications

• Technical School completion of an accredited Paramedic program.
• Associate degree in EMS or related field preferred.
• 0-2 years EMT-P experience; hospital ED/critical transport preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs advanced life support and clinical care per scope of practice.
• Assists with emergency procedures, resuscitation, and trauma care.
• Monitors patient condition and documents changes promptly.
• Administers meds safely under protocols and documents administration.
• Maintains EMR documentation timely and accurately.
• Collaborates with nurses to prioritize care and streamline throughput.
• Prepares patients for procedures and imaging as needed.
• Ensures equipment readiness and reports shortages.
• Communicates clearly with patients/families to reduce anxiety.
