Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital & Medical Center in Hartford, part of Trinity Health, is hiring Paramedics for the 12 Hour Night Shift. You will perform advanced procedures during treatment and transport, ensuring safe patient care and effective communication with teams and facilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and completion of an accredited Paramedic program.
• Current CT paramedic license, BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications, valid driver’s license.
• Ability to think and act calmly in emergency situations.

Responsibilities

• Assess situation, provide medical care to treat, stabilize and prepare patient for transport.
• Use specialized equipment such as ventilators and defibrillators when needed.
• Communicate information clearly with patient, family, on-site colleagues and medical staff.
• Write and submit accurate incident and patient reports.
