Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital & Medical Center in Hartford is hiring dedicated Paramedics to join our team. You would be responsible for performing all advanced procedures required during treatment and transport, using equipment such as ventilators and defibrillators, and communicating clearly with patients, families, staff, and medical teams.

This full-time night shift (12 hours) offers a competitive pay range and comprehensive benefits as part of Trinity Health Of New England’s system.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and accredited Paramedic program completed.
• Current Paramedic CT license and BLS/ACLS/PALS.
• Valid driver’s license; ability to act calmly in emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient, provide necessary medical care, stabilize and prepare for transport.
• Operate specialized equipment such as ventilators and defibrillators as needed.
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, on-site staff and hospital teams.
• Write and submit accurate incident and patient reports.

Employment Type: Full time Shift: 12 Hour Night Shift Description: Saint Francis Hospital & Medical Center, Hartford We are looking for dedicated Paramedics who embrace our core values to come join our team and assist us in continuing to provide quality care for our local communities. You would be responsible for responsible for performing all advanced procedures required during treatment and transport unless assisted by another licensed EMT-P. What will you do: Assess situation, provide necessary medical care to treat, stabilize and prepare patient for transport, use of specialized equipment, such as ventilators and defibrillators, when needed. Communicate clear, concise information with patient, family members, colleagues on-site and with medical staff at healthcare facilities. Writing and submitting accurate incident and patient reports. Work Hours/Shift: Full-time, Rotating Shifts, 7pm-7am

Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma and completion of an accredited Paramedic program. Current Paramedic CT license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, valid driver’s license. Must have the ability to think and act calmly in emergency situations.

Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
