Job summary

Rolls-Royce Corporation in Aiken, SC is seeking a Painter for off-shift to join our Power Systems unit. You will select paints, mix to specifications, prep engine surfaces, and operate spray equipment to ensure proper coating thickness and color match.

This full-time role requires a high school diploma and 3 years of painting experience, OSHA awareness, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. You must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and 3 years of experience operating painting machines and painting transportation equipment.
• Knowledge of painting methods, color formulation, and ability to operate/repair paint equipment.
• OSHA safety requirements understanding and ability to ensure compliance in processes.
• Ability to troubleshoot paint applications and match colors; wage includes shifting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Select paint per company requirements and prepare color-matched paints.
• Mix paints to specification and adjust flow using spray equipment.
• Clean surfaces and remove grease, dirt, rust prior to painting.
• Apply paint with spray guns and monitor coatings for flaws.
• Keep safety standards and documentation up to date.
