Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Packer Handler to maintain a safe, clean work area and support fast-paced production lines in our facility. You will inspect products for quality, package items, label correctly, and collaborate with team leaders to resolve issues.

Starting pay is $18.00 per hour with a 90-day increase to $19.00 and a $1 per hour shift differential. Full benefits after 30 days, 401(k) eligibility after 90 days, and paid time off are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds safely.
• Must be able to identify alpha/numeric product codes.
• Able to work in a fast-paced production environment with repetitive tasks.
• Some workstations may require sitting or standing for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area.
• Inspect product for quality and reject substandard items. Work with Team Leader and alert Mold Tech/Supervisor of issues.
• Assemble product by installing gaskets in lids and handles in containers.
• Flame containers and lids when required.
• Stack and pack product per customer instructions and labels.
• Assist with material handling and other tasks as needed.
• When production interrupts, perform cleanup and other tasks as assigned.
• Accurately complete required paperwork.
