Job summary

PAC Worldwide is hiring a Machine Packer for night shift in Bethlehem, PA. The role packs products from machines into cartons, maintaining quality and safety standards. Starting pay is $16.65 per hour with a $2.10 shift differential, plus paid breaks and weekly pay.

3rd shift runs Sunday to Thursday, 11:00pm–7:00am. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work overtime as needed. Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least six months of manufacturing experience.

Qualifications

• Must read work instructions.
• Must read safety rules.
• Must read a ruler and use a calculator.
• Adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain good attendance.
• Able to work as part of a team.
• At least six (6) months of manufacturing work history desired.

Responsibilities

• Pack product off machine per orientation on stacking diagrams.
• Pack product into cartons without deforming the product.
• Ensure carton quantity is correct and labeled properly.
• Measure and test product; identify defects and stop machinery if defects persist.
• Maintain a pace that keeps up with machine throughput capabilities.
• Remove start-ups and screen for defects.
• Inspect and clear bag overflow area.
• Complete required quality checks per procedure.
• Must understand how to operate E-stops and identify safety situations requiring E-stop (lockout/tagout).
• Set up and operate case sealing machines.
• Assist machine operator and teammates as needed.
• Practice safe work and report near misses; use first aid when required.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Become proficient in packing at least one core product type and be flexible to other machinery.
• Work overtime as needed.
• Other related duties as assigned.
