Job summary

O-I is seeking a Packaging Palletizer Operator to load cartons and partitions onto the carton line while ensuring equipment runs smoothly. The role requires 12-hour night shifts and the ability to lift up to 25 lbs, with prior manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities include unjamming equipment, inspecting products for defects, and keeping the glue dispenser operational. This is a hands-on manufacturing position with safety and quality at the forefront.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to work 12-hour night shifts, including holidays and weekends as required.
• Able to lift 25 lbs on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

• Load cartons, carriers and partitions onto carton assembler and conveyors; keep line running as designed.
• Turn off equipment when malfunction occurs and notify supervisor or maintenance.
• Unjam machines and conveyors by stopping them and removing materials.
• Inspect cartons, carriers and partitions for defects; record on quality sheets and discard defective items.
• Remove wrap and straps, unload cartons and keep glue dispenser filled.
