Job summary

Millenniumsoft in Mebane, NC is seeking an Entry Level Packaging Operator for a 6-month contract (W2). The role is night shift (Mon-Thu 9pm-7am) with OT on some Fridays, 40 hours/week.

Training runs 2 weeks, 7am-5:30pm, before transitioning to night shift. Primary duties include manual inspection, labeling and packaging of clinical and commercial products, ensuring compliance with procedures and quality specs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Six months of industry experience.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Team-oriented and collaborative.
• Good documentation practices.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule including nights and overtime.
• Familiar with computers and business software.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.

Responsibilities

• Manual inspection, labeling, and packaging of clinical and commercial products.
• Perform finished product packaging to satisfy all customer, internal, clinical, and other demand.
• Ensure finished product is packaged in accordance with procedures and quality specifications.
• Inspect in-process packaging and components to ensure quality and remove defects.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation of manufacturing activities related to packaging (device history records and inventory counts).
• Perform simple mathematical calculations to assist in batch records.
• Assist with inventory counting and participate in safety discussions as required.
• Perform routine cleaning of packaging station and processing equipment.
• Abide by PPE and contamination control requirements.
• Handle hazardous waste as appropriate.
