Job summary

Uponor (GF Building Flow Solutions) is hiring for a full-time Night Shift packaging operator in the United States. The role operates packaging equipment, ensures quality, labels products, and maintains production paperwork while following lean procedures.

The shift is 12 hours on a 4x4 schedule (4 days on, 4 days off) with base pay $20.50–$27.22 per hour plus a $2 night differential, and comprehensive benefits including health, PTO, and 401(k) matching. Training is extensive and safety-focused.

Qualifications

• Must be able to problem solve, multitask/prioritize and pay attention to detail.
• Must be able to work a 12-hour shift.
• Manufacturing experience of 1-3 years is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operates all packaging equipment by following company procedures.
• Maintains quality standards.
• Accurately labels all products.
• Maintains accurate production paperwork to avoid Order Rejects.
• Changes reels and/or carts as required by following written procedures.
• Maintains communications with lead and supervisor.
• Performs all tasks in a safe manner.
• Cuts samples as required by written procedures.
• Disposes scrap properly.
• Maintain work area by keeping all tools and equipment in designated areas maintaining the 5's standards in their area.
• Performs required set-up of all recoil equipment.
• Continually seeks out opportunities to contribute to the business success through proactive involvement in lean initiatives.
