Job summary

PL Developments LLC, also known as PLD, is a leading manufacturer, packager, and distributor of OTC pharmaceutical products. The Maintenance Technician ensures the proper functioning and installation of machinery and equipment used in the production processes at our Piedmont, SC facility.

Work schedule is Sunday through Thursday, 10:00pm to 6:30am with overtime as needed; candidates must have at least 5 years’ packaging-line experience in a cGMP environment, be fluent in English (Spanish a

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' experience on packaging lines, preferably in a cGMP environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication in English; Spanish a plus.
• Experience with packaging equipment (labelers, fillers, cappers, jet printers, cartoners, bundlers, sleevers, heat tunnels, case sealers).
• Able to work with minimal supervision and have own tools.
• Willing to work any shift and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• General maintenance: valves, pumps, motors, gear reducers.
• Disassembly and assembly of electric motors, pumps, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Repair machinery and conveyor belts.
• Basic electrical knowledge.
• Maintain technical and professional knowledge.
• Perform other duties as required for plant maintenance.
