Job summary

Altium Packaging in New Castle, Pennsylvania is seeking an entry level Production Packaging Associate for 3rd shift (11:50pm–8:20am) with a starting pay of $16.25 per hour plus a $1.00 shift differential. This position involves packaging materials, loading and moving, and operating packaging equipment while following GMP.

You will perform bottle inspections, monitor lines, restock supplies, ensure labeling accuracy, and maintain a clean, safe work area. Reasonable overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Basic mathematical skills required.
• Basic computer experience required.
• Completion of Altium Production/Packaging Associate I training within 90 days of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Practice safe PPE use and follow safety policies.
• Be punctual and follow the work schedule.
• Work well in a team and collaborate with others.
• Follow General Manufacturing Policies of the company.
• Keep work area neat, clean and organized.
• Monitor conveyors and clear bottle jams from lines.
• Pick up dropped bottles and place into designated bins.
• Place discarded bottles into grinder when applicable.
• Inspect bottle quality during production, packaging and labeling.
• Conduct bottle inspections, including drop tests on designated lines.
• Immediately escalate bottle abnormalities, defects and quality issues.
• Monitor packaging material levels and replenish as needed.
• Ensure correct labeling, bottle description and packaging per customer specs.
• Move finished goods to designated area.
• Set up and organize workstations and restock supplies for shift transitions.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
• Duties may differ by plant based on equipment and design.
