Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital is seeking a Physician Assistant for the Advanced Heart Failure and Cardiac Critical Care unit. This hybrid role on the cardiac step-down will cover advanced heart failure patients, including LVAD and transplant cases, under the guidance of top cardiologists. Open to new grads and experienced PAs.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of cardiology or critical care experience highly preferred
• Passionate about cardiology and critical care
• Experience with mechanical support devices (Impella, IABP, VADs)

Responsibilities

• Cover a hybrid cardiac step-down and care for advanced heart failure patients
• Collaborate with Cardiologists/Heart Failure specialists
• Rotate weekends/holidays; night shifts on a 12.5-hour schedule
