Rochester Regional Health in Rochester, NY seeks a Heart Failure Physician Assistant to provide hybrid inpatient and outpatient care across the heart failure continuum. Overnight remote call coverage and weekend rounding on call are required.

The ideal candidate has cardiology experience and strong communication, with a patient-centered approach and solid documentation skills. Must hold a Physician Assistant degree and PA-C certification.

Responsabilités

• Provide care in inpatient and outpatient settings; take histories, perform exams, order labs/imaging.
• Develop diagnoses and treatment plans with the attending physician; order consultations.
• Interact with patients and families; provide education and support.
• Prescribe medications, write orders, perform procedures within scope.
• Obtain complete histories, review records, document clinical information.
• Participate in Advanced Heart Failure call rotation; 5–6 overnight remote shifts/month; weekend rounding as needed.
