TreeHouse Foods in Hanover, PA is seeking a dedicated Oven Operator for the 3rd shift to manage multi-oven lines and uphold safety, quality, and process standards. The role requires attention to readings, alarms, and continuous monitoring to meet production goals.

The position is full-time, with hours from 11:00pm to 7:00am Monday through Friday, plus some Saturdays. Competitive hourly compensation is offered along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Ability to organize, prioritize, and multitask across fast-paced conveyor lines.
• Basic math and measuring abilities.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to comprehend written and oral instructions.
• Ability to read production orders and machine specs.

Responsibilities

• Operate oven lines to meet production targets, using LD displays, gauges, and checklists.
• Monitor alarms and warnings; respond promptly to issues.
• Record readings on process control sheets; report irregularities.
• Perform safe startup, emergency stop, and restart procedures.
• Adjust process parameters based on lab feedback to maintain product specs.
• Manage salt operations: check/refill salt trays; alert packing supervisor when bins need replacing.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the oven area: remove waste and trash.
• Clean ovens during shutdowns: wash down cooker & transfer areas; follow safety procedures.
• Support plant shutdowns with cleaning duties.
• Perform additional duties to support departmental and organizational goals.
