Job Description: Order Selector

Join our dedicated warehouse team at Gourmet Foods International, delivering delicious specialty foods to our customers. This fast-paced, physical role involves receiving trucks full of orders, preparing them for delivery, loading conveyor belts, and transporting and staging deliveries for drivers.

Some of your duties may include:

• Unload, receive, and store incoming inventory items.
• Operate an RF handheld device to scan, pull, and pack items for orders.
• Follow prompts on screens for various tasks.
• Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages.

Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs, carry up to 50 lbs, and push/pull up to 30 lbs of force.
• Exposure to refrigerated environments ranging from 0 to 36°F.
• Ability to ascend and descend a 10-inch step from the floor.
• Excellent communication skills, ability to follow directions, meet deadlines, and work independently.
• Ability to stand for long periods and reach or bend as needed.

Preferred but not required:

• Previous warehouse or cold storage experience.
• Pallet jack operation and/or stand-up forklift certification.
