Job summary

Shea Medical Center in Scottsdale, AZ, is seeking an RN with operating room experience for night shifts (3x12). The role involves providing expert surgical nursing care, administering medications, and coordinating with the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

The RN will develop and implement care plans, monitor patients, and educate families on post-operative care and recovery while maintaining compliance with ANA standards and hospital policies.

Qualifications

• RN with operating room experience is required.
• BLS certification required.
• Active RN license in Arizona (or Compact State) upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for surgical patients in the OR.
• Administer medications and monitor patient status during procedures.
• Develop and contribute to patient care plans with the multidisciplinary team.
• Document patient data, responses to treatment, and outcomes.
• Educate patients and families about post-operative care and recovery.
• Collaborate with physicians and support staff to ensure safe, quality care.
