Job summary

Origin Travel Nurses in New Brunswick, NJ seeks a Registered Nurse for a Medical Surgical Oncology unit on a 13-week contract. Night shift runs 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30, delivering high-quality care to oncology patients.

The RN will administer medications and chemotherapy, educate patients, coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, and ensure thorough documentation. NJ or Compact RN license and BLS/CHEMO are required, ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience.
• Active NJ or Compact RN license required.
• BLS and CHEMO certifications required; ACLS preferred.
• Experience with EPIC charting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized patient care to oncology patients.
• Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in health status.
• Administer medications and chemotherapy per safety protocols.
• Educate patients on treatments and side effects.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize care.
• Document care in hospital records.
