Job summary

Maine Medical Center in Portland, ME is seeking a Clinical Nurse II for our Labor/Delivery/Recovery unit. This full‑time night shift offers 3 twelve‑hour shifts per week with every third weekend rotation, and a pathway for RN growth, research, and leadership development.

Eligible candidates have at least 1 year of RN experience; BSN preferred; Maine RN license; prior perinatal care or telemetry experience preferred. Join a highly motivated team dedicated to patient and family‑centered care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Maine.
• At least 1 year of RN experience.
• Prior cardiac telemetry, OR or ER experience preferred.
• Prior perinatal care experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, documentation, and evaluation of nursing care per standards.
• Care delivery and coordination begins with initial contact and may continue across the continuum.
• Inpatient, outpatient, ambulatory and community settings as needed.
