American Traveler is seeking an experienced OB RN for a night-shift Labor, Delivery, and Post Partum assignment in Maine. The role requires a minimum of 2 years of acute care RN experience and an active Maine license.

You will work on the OB unit, caring for antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, nursery, and post-op gyne patients on a 13-week contract. BLS/ACLS, Neonatal Resuscitation, and STABLE are required.

Qualifications

• Active ME or compact RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years of acute care RN experience required.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current BLS, ACLS, Neonatal Resuscitation, and STABLE certifications required.
• COVID-19 vaccination required per state mandate.

Responsibilities

• Care for antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, nursery, and post-op gyn patients on OB unit.
• Night shift schedule.
• 13-week assignment.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care under charge nurse supervision.
• Provide age-appropriate, individualized care following the nursing process.
• Manage unit supplies and equipment while promoting teamwork with physicians and staff.
• Adhere to hospital policies on confidentiality, sexual harassment, advance directives, and ADA.
• Complete general nursing and unit-specific orientation.
